DIN 82101 Connecting clamps for chains (shackles)
A chain coupler or also called a shackle is a metal bent part with cylindrical lugs at the ends and a pin that closes the U-shaped clamp.
A simple connection is created by pulling the pin.
DIN 82101 sheaves are widely used for clamping ropes and belts.
They are also used to connect cables and circuits by mounting them to each other, to hooks or to other suitable equipment.
Coupling clamps are hot-dip galvanized and tested. Each one is marked with its load capacity.
