DIN 1480 Forged turnbuckles
The turnbuckle is a widespread rigging device that finds successful application in various industries.
It serves to adjust the degree of tension and to reduce slack in a rope, cable or similar connecting element.
It is important to note that the turnbuckle serves only for tensioning, it is not suitable to be used for lifting
The design allows only the body of the turnbuckle to be rotated without rotating the tensioned cable or rope.
It consists of several components made of zinc-coated steel:
- Body – open type with left thread on one end and right on the other.
- Hook, hook or spike in various configurations.
